"Earth" documentary

"Walt Disney Studios is turning box-office cash from its nature documentary "Earth" into seed money to plant trees in the rain forest.

Disney had announced it would plant one tree in Brazil's endangered Atlantic rain forest for every viewer who saw the movie during its first week. According to Disney, the box-office tally hit $16.1 million, which translates to 2.7 million trees.
The trees are being planted by the Nature Conservancy, which is trying to reforest 2.5 million acres in the rain forest.

"Earth," the first feature-length nature documentary from its new production banner, Disneynature. This amazing new film is from award-winning British producer/director Alastair Fothergill, whose credits include the Emmy and Peabody award-winning "Planet Earth" series (BBC and The Discovery Channel) and "The Blue Planet."

Follows the epic migratory journeys of four animal families as well as the earth's journey around the sun and the massive influence it has on all life on the planet, from the Arctic spring to the Antarctic winter.

That's a good initiative from Disney.I'll definitely try to see it while it's still theaters.

I liked Planet Earth doc series on the Discovery channel, so I bet this is going to be good. I've added in the post the trailer and the first and second part of "Earth".
